Hi, I'm Dylan! I'm a first-year med student, class of 2030, and I'm so glad you're here.
Getting into med school felt like a road trip without a map. Nobody hands you the route: when to take the MCAT, what AMCAS costs, how many secondaries show up in July. Med Mapped is my attempt to draw that map for whoever is a few steps behind me, plus notes on what the first year of med school is like from the inside. If that's you, welcome!
What you'll find here
- Applying. Month-by-month timelines, real fee math, secondary essay planning and interview prep, for med school first and the other health programs too: PA, dental, vet and residency.
- Med school life. Study schedules, how the first blocks work, and the small things that make a long week easier.
- Free printables. Most posts come with a PDF you can download right from the page. No email sign-up, no pop-ups!
The shop
I also make application tracker spreadsheets and sell them in my Etsy shop, Med Mapped on Etsy. Posts that link there say so. Everything on this site works without buying anything, promise!
How the posts are made
I use AI tools to help draft posts and lay out the printables, the same way you might use spell check or a design app. Fees, dates and rules are checked against the official source (AAMC, CASPA, AADSAS, VMCAS, ERAS) before a post goes up, and each post says where the numbers come from. Fees change every cycle, so always confirm on the official page before you pay.
Nothing here is official admissions advice, and I don't speak for any school. If something is wrong or out of date, tell me in a comment on the Pinterest pin and I'll happily fix it. Thanks for reading, and good luck out there!
